Lakes Were Rivers Collective consists of Adam Schreiber, Anna Krachey, Barry Stone, Ben Ruggiero, Elizabeth Chiles, Jason Reed, Jessica Mallios, Leigh Brodie, Mike Osborne, Sarah Murphy and Susan Shahan. “(Re)Collection” is a lens-based exploration of the current state of photography that examines the way photography is collected, interpreted and valued in order to cultivate reflection, dialogue and education about the contemporary impact of the medium relative to its past. The project will be comprised of three parts: 1) a book; 2) an exhibition; and 3) a public panel discussion.
